One Health Global Exchange Academy was founded with a core mission: to facilitate the best experiences and practices in the health field of Costa Rica’s healthcare system and provide the cultural exchange that develops the profile of a global health professional with an intercultural understanding, promoting academic curiosity, and foster a global mindset in each participant.

So much has changed since 2019 in the health field, but even as the context around us shifts, our mission remains the same understand the Costa Rican healthcare system, and the organization of the public health system, leading to opportunities for participants as practitioners to engage and bring positive change into the systems in which they work.
